My husband, Scott, an ER nurse, and I have been married since 1994.  We live in Lake County with our 3 children, Josh, Ben and Mara.  They bring joys to us every single day.  Outside of the office I stay pretty busy with them.  We are very involved with our church and Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.  Personally, I enjoy spending time with our families and scrapbooking and visiting with friends.  We travel as often as we can, we all love to camp and explore nature.

We have had several pets over the years, horses, dogs, cats, hermit crabs, toads and lizards.   Maddie, our 12 year old Australian Shepherd, was diagnosed by our vets with an Insulinoma in April 2005.  She had surgery then to remove a large tumor on her pancreas.  Her prognosis at that time was not very good.  But with great care and the knowledgable doctors here, she had out-lived all of our expectations.   Maddie passed away 12/27/07, but we were very lucky to have the extra time with her because of Dr. Scott and Dr. Hendrickson.

Our dog, Carly, joined our family on 12/13/08.  She is an Australian Shepherd mix about 1 year old when we adopted her from a rescue in Chicago.
