Hello, my name is Katie.  I've been a technician here since 2003, and plan to be here for a long time to come.  In 1999, I graduated from Madison Area Technical College with an associate's degree.  I then became a Certified Veterinary Technician.  All through my childhood I knew that I wanted a career with animals and was very excited when I learned about veterinary technicians in high school.  I got a job cleaning kennels at a local vet when I was 15 and never looked back.  I have found this to be a very rewarding and enjoyable career.

                                                                   

I live with my husband Mike in the Lake Geneva area.  We've been married since 2005 and have 2 adorable daughters, Claire and Caitlyn. We currently have one dog, named Maggie, she is a black lab born Jan 2, 2008.  We enjoy heading to the north woods for getaways, watching Packer games, and spending time with family and friends.
