Posted : 6/15/2010 Comments : Our first dog, Golden Retriever Ginger, started with Dr. Merrick as a puppy back in 1992. We were always happy with Dr. Merrick and his caring staff! We met Dr. Hendrickson and his family when they first moved to Kenosha at the time of the Wolf-Merrick merger. We were lucky enough to have them as neighbors for their first few years in Kenosha; great family, great vet! Our Ginger received very personalized care from Dr. Hendrickson from then until her end. We now have a Wheaten Terrier Benny primarily under the care of Dr. Hendrickson. Over the years, we have had occasion to meet with Drs.Petereit and Rockwell, and find them to be great as well. Dr. Rockwell once stayed late while I rushed Benny over at closing time because he had just had a very bloody stool that I found quite disturbing. This is a great group of caring professionals~ doctors and the staff... one of whom I've known for almost twenty years.. Gina! Wolf-Merrick Animal Hosptial ranks 10 out of 10 in every category :).

Posted : 2/18/2010 Comments : Dr. Hendrickson is our lifesaver...literally! When no one else could diagnose my poor cat, he came through, once again. Never judgmental and always kind, he is definately number 1 in our furry household! And we all love all of the support staff..you do everything right!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Posted : 12/22/2009 Comments : Such a wonderful group of people with a sincere passion for the patients and families. Zeke is a 14 year old golden - cancer survivor - thanks to the attentiveness of the staff during a gum reduction with a teeth cleaning. They are on the edge of nkowledge and helped us get into UW Madison Veterinary for Chemo as well as into the Milwaulkee Emergency clinic for oncology and bisphosphonate treatments for osteo sarcoma....going on 2+ years of quality living... You've heard of "be the ball"....they all "be the animals"....if they don't have the answer (rare)...they'll find it.

Posted : 11/9/2009 Comments : We recently had to put our cat O'Malley to sleep and it was one of the hardest things we had to do. Dr. Rockwell and the staff were so caring and showed deep sympathy. We didn't know what to expect, but I have to say they somehow made us feel a little better about the situation. When O'Malley was first diagnosed with Renal Failure, Dr. Hendrikson took the time to call me and answer all the questions I had. We didn't have to wonder and wait forever for answers. Very Professional!!! Thank you!

Comments : We have taken our two dogs, Max and Molly, to Wolf Merrick since they were puppies. Not only do we absolutely love the Dr's and staff but so do our dogs - they actually get excited and run to the car when we say "Let's go to the vet!!" Everyone is so wonderful and really makes us feel relaxed because we know our two "children" are receiving the best care in the world. Thanks for all that you do and for your dedication to animals.

Comments : There are not enough words to express how deeply my dogs and I appreciate everyone at Wolf Merrick. No matter how busy things get, every individual has a ready smile on their face and quick hugs for my "monsters"; you make us feel like family. You always demonstrate kindness, respect, compassion and professionalism in all that you do - these are not feelings that can be faked, but are most certainly genuine. I cannot imagine taking my dogs anywhere else; something with which they emphatically agree. Thank you for keeping them healthy, for taking the time to explain procedures and offer advice, and for always welcoming us with good cheer.

Our dog is a senior dog and the first pet for both my husband and I so we have a lot of questions and concerns about his health and the staff is always so patient and willing to explain everything no matter how trivial. Thanks so much taking such good care of our boy over the years and keep up the excellent work!

Comments : It was weird that I found the best Veterinarians/Staff- under the worst circumstances! I had to help bring in my brothers dog to be put to sleep-and I was so impressed on how everyone was so attentive to our feelings as well as our beloved family pet. I didn't know what to expect- but everthing was handled with such care and respect- that I will never go anywhere else! Thanks for caring so much and doing what you do!

Comments : I just wanted to say how much we appreciate the time all of your staff and Doctors take to give such great thorough care! At my previous vet- I NEVER recieved the amount of information that you are willing to share! It can make a world of difference to someone who doesn't understand vaccines -to something as serious as tumors/cancer. I LOVE the fact that when I bring my babies to you ...they break down the door to say HI! They are treated like family there. KEEP THE GREAT WORK UP!! :)
